MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In 1973, Senator Ted Kennedy was in the hospital with his sick son and he was walking the halls of the hospital talking to other parents of sick children. What he learned was that many parents worried about whether they should pay their mortgage or save their child – they did not have the means or insurance – and he had both. So, it became his life’s mission to fight for healthcare for all, so parents should never have to make that choice.
This call to action is asking designers to contribute their talents by turning design skills and aspirations into tangible actions that can bring clarity to the interactions between the US government and its citizens in regard to healthcare. Members are invited to create non-partisan posters and social media visuals in our templated format to engage the public. These creations will be posted to our website and social media channels to promote Healthcare for All.
